Come take a walking ghost tour through downtown Chattanooga, hearing tales (and maybe even getting pictures) of some of the city's true hauntings!

Visit ghostly locations such as Walnut St. Bridge and Read House, home of the infamous Room 311 and its permanent inhabitant, Annalisa Netherly. There will be numerous stops along the way and you will hear ghost stories and other entertaining tidbits about each of the various sites.

Tour is conducted by actors and storytellers; however, no actors will follow, jump out, or otherwise 'spook' you. Because of this, this tour is suitable for youngsters who are not overly frightened simply from hearing stories. The stories on this tour have been researched and the tour will include some of the rich history of downtown Chattanooga and its buildings, as well as information on the ghosts that have been known to haunt this area.

Don't forget your cameras!! Ghosts' orbs have been known to frequently appear at some of the sites you will be visiting.

Summary: This tour does not offer hotel pick ups. Please order online or call 800-713-7581 to order or for more information. There is a $3.95 processing fee per order. This is a flat fee regardless of the number of tickets or tours purchased on an order.
There is a service charge per ticket. This charge will be reflected on your summary before you checkout. The total shown includes any and all taxes, fuel surcharges, and service fees. There are no additional charges.

Cancellation Policy: There are no refunds. All sales are final.

Change Fee Policy: If changes are allowed on a tour or activity, a $20.00 per reservation change fee will be applied for any change to a reservation. Please note that some tours and activities do not allow any changes. Date changes can be made only if we can confirm availability on the new date. While we cannot guarantee any changes can be made, all change requests must be submitted a minimum of 24 hours prior to the tour departure and must be handled on an individual basis through our Reservations Center.

Is this a walking or riding tour?
This is a walking tour. There are several stops along the way for stories about different haunted places downtown, so you will certainly not be walking the entire time.

Does the tour go into Underground Chattanooga?
Yes! This tour does go into underground Chattanooga.

What is the length of the tour?
This tour takes 1 1/2 -2 hours, depending on the guide, and the route is approximately 8/10 of a mile.

Is the tour suitable for children?
Most children absolutely love this tour; however, there have been a couple of 4 or 5 year olds that got upset hearing about a woman getting her head "bashed in." Most children (except those who watch only PBS) hear more graphic things on television; however, use your discretion. If your child gets overly upset hearing about people being killed, a ghost tour is probably not the best choice for their entertainment.

Are there bathroom stops?
No. You should use the facilities before beginning the tour. There is a restroom located near the start of the tour but there are no public restroom facilities available during the tour.

Are cameras allowed?
Yes, everyone is encouraged to bring cameras, as a lot of people have gotten ghost pictures on this tour. Audio recording of the tour, however, is not allowed.

How early should we arrive?
You should arrive anywhere from 5 to 15 minutes early.

Is tipping allowed?
YES! The guides greatly appreciate any and all tips.

What if it rains?
This tour runs rain or shine, as long as there are guests that want to go. Some people even say they find the tour creepier during a storm.
